There are a few ways you can volunteer and help make the 2026 Eighter From Decatur Bike Rally a success! All volunteers will be entered in a drawing for a free flight with the race’s founder, Fabio. You’ll also receive a free t-shirt and meal as a thank you for your service.

Ways You Can Volunteer

    • Assembling Packets

    • Prepping Rest Stop Materials

    • General Set-Up — 5 to 7 p.m.

    • General Set-Up — 5 to 7 a.m.

    • Traffic Control — 7 to 9 a.m. // 9 to 11 a.m. // 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

    • Rest Stop Management — Alvord

    • Rest Stop Management — Forestburg

    • Rest Stop Management — Top of 730

    • Rest Stop Management — 730/Railroad tracks

    • Rest Stop Management — Apt/730

    • Rest Stop Management — Near Apt

    • Sag Wagon Support

    • Organize and Distribute Medals

    • Teardown — 1 to 3 p.m.

    • Clean-Up — 1 to 3 p.m.

    • Post-Rally Organization (Flexible times + days)

We’re also collecting donations for rest stops; your donations help keep our riders hydrated and fueled. The list of items needed includes:
